This programme provides unique opportunity for the mangers/executives in the Health industry to learn health management international techniques to become successful health sector decision makers/managers. The aim of this mini MBA in Health Care Management programme is to provide business and management decisions know-how to the mangers; those do not have time to spend 2 years at the university, but still are eager to learn these health management techniques. The managers go through an intensive programme which covers main topics of a MBA Health Management plan. They will master these techniques through 5 modules; Business Decisions Making- Managing For Health, Marketing Management of the Health Sectors, Health People Management, Financial Management and Health Economics and Leading International Health Care.
 

Module1: Management Decision-Making - Managing For Health

The managers will be introduced a number of analytical tools that managers may use to help them make often complex business decisions in complex environment. They will learn about the challenges of health sectors' executives, developments and trends in health services and sectors, strategic health management and health management strategies in action will be discussed.

Module 2: Marketing Management of the Health Sectors

The module will provide marketing management tools to the health managers. The managers will learn both internal and external marketing techniques to provide best competitive services to business customers as well as consumers. They will learn in dept customer relationship and services development techniques. The other main topics covered in this module would be; managing the markets, services developments, market segmenting management, market positioning management and applications of the best marketing strategies to win the markets in the long run
 

Module 3: Health People Management

This module concentrates on “Management of people” which plays a key for organisational success. The people are the most complex of all organisational resources to manage. Both theoretical and practical issues of people management in the contemporary competitive economic environment will be discussed and analysed. Human resource strategies would be the main focus in this module.

Module 4: Financial Management and Health Economics

The financial management methods would be discussed in this module. The managers will learn fundamental Understanding the Financial issues in the Health Sector. Managing the Financial Aspects of the Health Sector, Financing and Organizing Health Care and Current issues in Health Economics will also be the main topics of learning.

Module 5: Leading International Health Care

This module takes an international perspective to healthcare as a developing business sector considering management and leadership issues of key healthcare systems of developed countries and associated health-related industries. International issues of healthcare systems will be included such as consumerisation, public participation and managing technologies. This module provides international comparative perspectives on public health issues in developed and developing countries, including key public health challenges, healthcare systems, working of the international health organisations among others.
